まだ、iPad が販売されていないのに気が早い？。AppleInsider には iPad の OS updates に関する Apple のライセンス契約について書かれています。iPad licensing agreement specifies paid annual OS updates これによると、iPad OS3.x(出荷時) から OS 4.x(早く出てね) の updates は全機能が提供されないかもしれないが、無料で提供するとのこと。
しかし、その次のメジャーバージョンアップからは iPod touch と同じように、いくらかの料金を取ると書かれています(iPod touch の時は $9.95 でしたね)。
AppStore で儲けれるんだから、ファームウェアの updates くらいタダにしてくれ〜。と思うのは甘いのかな？。
